Paris Isn’t New York or Milan: Vive la Différence

On Monday at the start of the French collections, someone finally called the fashion world’s bluff. From Geisha girl make-up to high-hair style wigs, the Paris fashion week has proved to awaken some style critics to the other side of fashion. Will it crash and burn or be a complete success? Well, who cares really?! I always refer to runway fashion and design as an art-form and many designers are using their art to express their own political and worldy views.

At left, a starry bodysuit that spoof the ensembles of ballroom dancers; flowing chiffon blouse with shorts and crystal ballet pump and at right, a tuxedo and ruffled tutu.
