The latest addition to the library of historical fashion icons is the Dolce & Gabbana Fashion Album, a 472-page, 30-lb. behemoth that pays homage to photographers who have captured the Dolce & Gabbana style on camera for the past 20 years. Image icons featured include Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Paolo Roversi, Mario Sorrenti, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, Michael Thompson, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, and Ellen von Unwerth.
In addition, you’ll get a little history lesson courtesy of art critic and Vogue Italia consultant Mariuccia Casadio. Sources say the book will hit shelves December 5th, right on time for the holidays, but if you go to good ole' Amazon, you can pre-order and recieve it earlier. Sales of the book will support Child Poverty, a foundation that helps underprivileged, talented young people achieve their artistic potential.
